Your morning routine is a crucial part of the day as it can determine how happy and healthy you remain throughout the rest of the day. Set yourself up for success by following our simple steps towards achieving an ideal morning routine and keep in mind that making this routine habitual can be a key to maintaining a good health with a happier and more successful life!

Step 1: Wake up at an appropriate time in the morning

This step requires that you keep ample time for whatever else you need to include in your morning routine (for example, a morning walk, breakfast, freshening up, etc.). The perfect time to start your day is around 5:30-6:00 if your work/school day starts at 8:00.

Step 2: Change your clothes and go for an early morning jog/run

Change into something that is exercise appropriate and makes sure to wear your best pair of sneakers. Grab your iPod or any other source of music and go for a half an hour jog in your neighborhood or a nearby park. This jog can help you get more hyped up about the day to come and the oxygen being released by the nearby plants early in the morning can help you get a boost of much needed fresh air.

Step 3: Have breakfast

Once you are finished with your jog, it is time for some food. Whether you cook for yourself or have your mom cook for you, make sure that whatever you are having isn’t too hearty and is completely balanced so as to provide you with the proper amount of nutrition that you need for starting the day. Please note that it is important that you don’t skip breakfast as this is the time of day when your metabolism is working at its best.

Step 4: Freshen up

Now it’s time to take a shower and brush your teeth. Showering in the morning ensures that you wake up from the “still sleepy” stage you may be in. Also, this makes sure that you clean the sweat they may have accumulated from your early morning jog.

Step 5: Get ready

Choose your clothes wisely and make sure you dress to impress. We believe in the philosophy that if you look good, you feel good and feeling good is a key to setting yourself up for success. Hence, don’t skip on the makeup and be sure to bring out all the guns as you get ready for the day.
